Had a nice week this week going 3-0 in the belt. Gave some of it back in the other games, but still had a nice winning week.
Well this week we are going to have the SUN BELTS version of OHIO ST/MICHAGAN, OKLAHOMA/TEXAS, AUBURN/LSU etc....
This is the game of the year in the SUNBELT conference. The 2 top teams in the conference collide this week to just about determine who is going to claim the SUNBELT title.
UL LAFAYETTE is only a 3 point fav at home and im pounding this game. Not only is UL the better team, especialy against MTSU weeknesses, but this game is billed as the most important game in UL history. The place will be almost sold out in lafeyette this week. Yours trully will also be there.
Its homecomming for UL and the CAJUNS have one of the longest winning streaks in the country at home.
As a matter of fact, the Cajuns are 9-2 overall in there last 11 games straight up with the only 2 losses comming to 2 top 25 teams (LSU and TEXAS A&M).
UL played a very sluggish game last week against FAU, but that was a classic sandwich game if there ever was one.
You see, the week before UL went on the road and beat the then 27th ranked team in the country in the University of HOUSTON, a team that was 4-1 at the time comming off of a 1 point loss to MIAMI on the road.
Most people agree that that was the biggest win in UL history.
So the sluggish win last week was in between the biggest win in school history and right before there biggest game of the season.
I just covered the emotional angles for now, I will get into the x's and o's and matchups later.
